Kakistocracy or the art of being governed by the less competent

ALUMNI

Why do the least competent sometimes make it to the top?

Kakistocracy - from the Greek kakistos, "the worst" - refers to a system run by the least qualified, most cynical or most destructive individuals.

Marginal phenomenon or systemic drift?

In business as in politics, it is urgent to understand these mechanisms where competence gives way to conformism, careerism or authoritarianism.

  • How can you recognize a kakistocracy when you're immersed in it?
  • What collective logic can lead to the triumph of incompetence?
  • And what about you? Have you ever been confronted with a system in which the most competent people remain silent, leave... or burn out?

👉 A hard-hitting conference, combining lucidity, analysis of drifts and openness to other forms of leadership.
