Grandes Ecoles Tournament-Stage 1

The Tournoi des Grandes Ecoles ( TGE ) is a team golf competition involving the most prestigious engineering and business schools:

Polytechnique, HEC, ESSEC, Mines, Central Paris, Arts et Métiers, INSA, ESCP Europe, EPF, ESIEA, Sciences Po, Insead, Mines, ENCP, Edhec, Esce, Escem, Supelec, Isep, Noema, ESTP, and IAE Paris-Sorbonne.

Each competition is organized in stableford, and the sum of the best 6 from each team is retained.

Schools are grouped into 3 pools.

The TGE takes place over 5 competitions and a final, from May to October.

IAE Paris-Sorbonne is in pool B with Central/Supelec, Neoma, Arts et Métiers and INSA.

Each round is an opportunity to play a different golf course.

The top finishers in each pool play for the title of TGE Champion, while the others play for the year's ranking.

Each competition requires 15 players per school, but they can be different in each round, and each can play 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 competitions.

Constraints find 15 players available on weekdays with a minimum golf level: index 26 for men and 28 for women and available on weekdays.

We are looking for players who are not numerous enough to ensure at least 15 registrations at each stage.

Alumni membership required to participate as a member.

The IAE Paris-Sorbonne has been taking part in this competition for 10 years.
